Which conversion tool should you choose?
| Tools | Input example | What Moyoutil does |
|---|---|---|
| JSON formatter | {"count":3,"ok":true} | JSON parsing and indentation or compression |
| Base64 converter | Hello | Convert or revert UTF-8 text to standard Base64 |
| URL encoder | a&b | Percent-encode or revert reserved characters in URI components |
Repeatedly encoding data without knowing what transformation it has undergone may produce results that are different from the original data. First, check the format of the input and the rules on the receiving end of the result.
How to organize JSON and use grammar check
Paste data into Moyoutil JSON Cleanup and press Clean to apply indentation. Compressing removes display space. Internally, it reads with JSON.parse and outputs it back with JSON.stringify.
{"count":3,"ok":true}
{
"count": 3,
"ok": true
}Use double quotes in JSON strings and property names. Single quotes, comments, and commas after the last item are treated as errors by this tool.

Even if the grammar check passes, the required fields or data types required by a specific API have not been verified. This tool does not have API schema validation functionality. Additionally, since numbers are read as JavaScript values, it is safe to pass them as strings if you need to preserve large integer identifiers.
{"id":"9007199254740993"}JSON cleaning is not a feature that preserves all representations of the original text. For example, the number 1.0 becomes 1 in the output. Please keep the original separately before using the results.

Base64 encoding/decoding and Hangul processing
Moyoutil turns text into UTF-8 bytes and then encodes them with standard Base64. The inverse conversion reads Base64 bytes as UTF-8 text.

Hello → SGVsbG8=
안녕 → 7JWI64WVWhen you press encoding, the string on the right appears, and if you input the string and decode it, you get the original text on the left. This example can be verified with Moyoutil's UTF-8 conversion function. Whitespace and newlines in the Base64 string being decoded are removed before processing.
Base64 is not an encryption or password protection feature. Do not use it to hide credentials or passwords, as it can be reversed without a key. This tool is for text only and does not provide the ability to restore arbitrary binaries such as images or compressed files. Base64URL used in JWT or JWT signature verification are also not included in the scope of support.
Apply URL encoding to parameter values
Moyoutil uses encodeURIComponent and decodeURIComponent. It is geared toward converting a single parameter value rather than an entire address.
References: MDN encodeURIComponent
a b → a%20b
a&b → a%26b
한글 → %ED%95%9C%EA%B8%80You can put the parameter value converted above into the q field of the address as shown below. If you put the entire address into this tool, the colons and slashes will be converted as well, so you'll end up with a different string than a regular link.
https://example.com/?q=a%26b
%20 → %2520The second example is the result of re-encoding already encoded whitespace. If you don't know how many times the recipient will decode the result, don't repeat the conversion arbitrarily. In this tool, the plus sign is a plus sign when decoded, and should not be confused with whitespace handling rules for HTML forms.
Check the original and purpose before conversion
Moyoutil's three conversion tools process input in the browser and do not upload it to the tool server. However, it is not a function that controls the surrounding environment such as shared devices, extensions, and clipboard synchronization. Check your transformation rules using test data instead of actual secret tokens.
JSON grammar checking or URL encoding alone cannot ensure application security. Processing appropriate to the context to be output, validation of inputs to be accepted, and authentication and authorization checks must be implemented separately in the service being used.
Frequently Asked Questions
If I convert JSON to Base64, can I check if it is valid JSON?
No. Base64 conversion only encodes strings and does not check JSON syntax. Check with the JSON cleanser first.
Why does URL decoding fail?
An error may occur if there is an incorrect percent notation or an invalid UTF-8 combination. Check whether the string was truncated during the copy process and what rules it was originally encoded with.
