How to make a GIF from a video

Set start time and end range

1. Open Create GIF and select the video playing in your browser.
2. Check the scene with the original preview and enter the start time in seconds.
3. Sets the GIF length. The sum of start time and length must be within the original length.
4. Start with 480px·10FPS and press Start Conversion.

For example, if you select a length of 5 seconds from the 3 second point of a 12 second video, the frames from 3 seconds to 8 seconds ago are extracted. It can be up to 10 seconds long and within 150 frames total. Settings that are too long or outside the original will result in an error before execution.

Check the movement and color before saving

Preview the finished GIF to check the opening scene, flow of action, text, and color. If the file is large, reduce the length first, then compare 320px or 5FPS. If the motion seems too choppy, you can try 15 FPS, but this may result in a larger file size. The output size is not larger than the original.

Tap Download Results to save the GIF file and try opening it again in the service you want to use. Depending on the service, animations may display differently. The GIF is silent and plays on a loop. The original file is not modified and uploaded to the server. Moving to another tab will cancel the action, so stay on the current tab or use the Cancel button.
