Procedure for creating a URL or text into a QR code

1. Select either website address or plain text mode.
2. Enter the address starting from https:// or http://. Plain text retains line breaks and leading and trailing spaces.
3. Starts with default settings of output size upper limit of 1024px, error resilience M, and margin of 4 spaces.
4. Tap Create QR Code and check the saved contents displayed on the screen.
5. Download a PNG or SVG and scan it with your actual phone.

Address mode normalizes URLs to the browser's URL parser. Please check the address of the result as the input representation and storage representation may be different, such as percent encoding of spaces and Korean paths. This tool will not open or query any servers for the addresses you enter. You must separately check whether the website is accessible and safe.

Should I download PNG or SVG?

PNG is a pixel image, so it is easy to use where image upload is required. SVG is a vector file expressed as a shape and can be used to adjust size in printing and design work. First check if your upload service or editor supports SVG. Both files contain the same content and have a white background.

Select the upper limit of output size from 512·1024·2048px. To draw a single square with an integer number of pixels, the actual PNG size may be slightly smaller than the upper limit. Actual horizontal and vertical pixels are displayed on the screen. If you shrink a PNG to an arbitrary size in the editor, cell boundaries may become blurry. Bigger files don't always mean better to read, you should also check printed size and camera distance.

How to Choose White Margins and Error Resilience Level

A blank space without other pictures or text is required around the QR code. This tool provides default 4-space or wide 8-space margins. When placing the notice, do not cut it out, including the white area. We use black code and a white background and do not provide logo covering or color changes.

M is the starting setting. If you select Q·H, the data for error recovery increases, but the code containing the same content may become more compact. Choosing a high level doesn't mean you can cover a certain area with the logo. Recognition results vary depending on the location of damage, printing condition, and shooting environment. Long addresses can complicate the code, so prepare a short and clear address that matches the original destination rather than arbitrarily deleting unnecessary content.

Do static QRs expire or can I modify them later?

This tool saves content directly into the QR image. Moyoutil does not set an expiration time, and you do not need to reconnect to this generator when reading the QR files you create. However, if the site whose web address you entered in the QR is deleted or the domain expires, the connection may fail. The lifespan of the QR file and the destination website are separate.

The contents of a static QR that has already been deployed cannot be changed with this tool. If you want to change the content, you will need to generate new code to replace the distribution. It is separate for the operator of the destination site to modify the content provided at the same URL. This tool does not provide URL shortening, redirect management, or scan count analysis.

Check scan, personal information, and text compatibility before disclosure

Up to 1,000 bytes can be entered based on UTF-8. Hangul and emoji use multiple bytes for one character, so the number of characters and capacity are different. Line breaks in plain text are also included in the data. There may be differences in character interpretation depending on the scanner, so check the results containing Korean characters and emojis on the device you will actually use.

QR codes are not a means of encryption. No input is sent out of the generator, but sharing the completed code allows readers to see the content. Do not enter passwords, authentication tokens, or personal information into public QR. We recommend that you print the printout at actual size and read it on multiple devices to ensure that the linked address and text are what you intended.
