Reproducing results with 5 rows of virtual CSV

The number of views consists of 100, 200, 10,000, an empty value, and 0. Likes and comments are also included and all numbers are for illustrative purposes only. The example execution calls parser/analysis functions such as SNS content performance analysis. You can download the example CSV and insert it directly into the tool to compare results.

Why are the sum of 10,300 and the median of 150 calculated?

There are 5 rows of content, but only 4 rows provided views. Empty values are values that are not provided and are excluded from the total and median views. We include 0 because it is the number provided. The total is 100+200+10,000+0=10,300. With the sorted views of 0, 100, 200, and 10,000, the median is 150, which is the average of the middle two values.

The arithmetic mean of the rows giving the number of views is 2,575. The reason it differs so much from the median of 150 is because there is one row that is 10,000. This does not mean that one number is always correct and must be checked in conjunction with the production purpose and distribution.

Calculation of reaction rate and comparison limits Pressing the

This example divides the sum of likes and comments by the number of views and multiplies by 100. The response rates for A, B, and C are 10%, 10%, and 1%, respectively, with a median of 10%. We don't create a response rate for rows with empty or zero views. Because the denominator and inclusions of official engagement rates may vary across platforms, we do not represent these numbers as equivalent to official metrics.

Platform, compare data based on time elapsed since posting and aggregation period. The post date filter only selects content published on that date and does not count views during that period. The results of one or two posts alone aren't enough to tell you that your creative has grown or that you've identified optimal posting times.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I treat empty views and 0 as the same value?

This tool makes a distinction. An empty value is not provided and 0 is a provided number. Also check the meaning used by the original platform.

If the median is high, will the next post do well?

There are no guarantees. The median is a summary of the data provided and is not a prediction of future performance.
